Every year we have a special fun day in memory of Sid Rowles who passed away some years ago. Sid was a keen sportsman and captained the cricket team for a number of years. He played on well into his 60's and even when he had given up playing he would come and watch. He could often be seen led on the grass in the sun.

The day is aimed at raising as much money as possible which we hand to the playing fields as our contribution to the upkeep of the facilities.

This year we raised over £1000 and had a great day which ended with a bar b que in the evening.

2004... we raised nearly £2000 this year. The weather was fantastic
